As part of Bunker Holdings’ continued growth and development, we are looking to strengthen our commercial team and are therefore seeking an ambitious Senior Operations Manager for our team.
About the role
As Senior Operations Manager, you will be based in Middelfart and report to the CCO and support the Executive Management and the line of business with strategy, operations, and M&A related projects. The projects will vary in size and character, and include assessing new business opportunities, potential investments, financial structuring, etc. You will play a key role in the process surrounding a project from beginning to end.

A major part of the job is to lead and motivate a team of 8 people. The team includes IT- and data specialists in Middelfart as well as our Master Data team in Dubai. Furthermore, you will be involved in handling M&A projects, including acquisitions of new businesses and cross-border merger projects.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you have minimum 5 years related work experience. This could be accumulated from a broad range of functions including, but not limited to, sales, M&A, investment banking, business development, procurement, and management consulting.
You have a strategic and commercial mindset, and you are a passionate and ambitious team player with a track record for delivering results. It is essential that you can lead people and you have experience with managing people. Furthermore, you should have a natural sense of prioritising and structuring your work. More specifically, we are looking for the following qualifications and experience:
- Experience from M&A processes and project management
- Ability to utilize high business acumen with the ability to understand and analyse financial and competitive data and apply it to optimise sales opportunities.
- Proficient verbal and written English and Danish communication skills to communicate through all levels of the organisation
- The ability to professionally discuss business issues and offer advice and alternatives
- Relevant master’s degree in business, finance, or other relevant fields
- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office package (PowerPoint and Excel)
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and facilitate meetings on your own
This position will take you travelling up to 40 days per year.
