Bunker Holding wants to play a leading role in the energy transition towards sustainable and zero-emission fuels in the maritime industry. As shipowners navigate an ever more complex regulatory environment, the group is therefore seeking to hire a Customer Advisor (Carbon Markets)  to offer detailed insights and guidance on the impact of today’s unprecedented, dynamic regulatory environment in the shipping industry.

A commercially minded spokesperson to drive our agenda to the next level
With the new Customer Advisor Carbon Markets on board, we will enhance our services and support for the industry, while deepening our engagement with the customers. You will be the spokesperson and go-to-person regarding maritime GHG and new fuels regulations, both internally in the group, as well as externally. You are a commercially minded person with technical understanding, and you thrive with having your finger on the pulse as to sustainable and participating in all kinds of initiatives on the subject.

Professional and personal skills:
We expect you be a team player with minimum 7 years ‘experience in maritime matters and good understanding of sustainable and fossil fuels including regulations, pricing, risk management and supply chains. Stakeholder management- and analytical skills are key to succeeding in the role and with a detail driven mindset, you can identify trading opportunities from new regulatory developments.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Excellent skills in communication and cross-cultural collaboration in pursuit of desired results on the regulatory agenda
  • Experience in gaining buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders, including legislators and organizations which impact our business framework.
  • Strategic approach and ability to anticipate and interpret market changes as well as envision future trends to leverage into business opportunities.

Areas of responsibilities
You thrive in building and maintaining the internal and external professional networks needed to ensure timely awareness of IMO and EU regulatory developments, clarification of options available and delivery of results. Participating in implementing the strategic direction for Bunker Holding for sustainable fuels is key as well as providing strategy and leadership in maritime regulations. Furthermore, you will assist in identifying new solutions and support approach/targeting/account plan.
