OTHER INSPIRING STORIES

From the moment I first entered the door at Bunker Holding, I felt like everything was possible.

Being part of a new-established IT department with the purpose of transforming legacy IT into a cloud-based enterprise IT, my new colleagues and I jumped on a fast-moving train headed for a digital future. Building the platform for future IT services, we had to start from scratch by defining the governance and policies that would become the frame for all decisions and changes to come. The combination of a lot of cleaning up data, taking care of legacy systems and ensuring that our users were not too affected in the process, was hard work filled with frustrations. But we agreed that it was okay to have bad days. Days where those colleagues that could still see the light of the end of the tunnel would help the ones that for a while felt lost.

When we finally reached the goal and presented the new platform, it was with a rare feeling of pride and success. We found that we had not only built the platform for IT, but also built the foundation for the future collaboration and cooperation in our entire business. It’s my clear impression that employees in Bunker Holding not only are hired based on their great skills, but also their ability to match a culture that consists of strong family values, high professionalism and always aiming for quality and bringing value every day. A place where you have a voice, and your work is not just the place you are employed, but an opportunity to use all of your knowledge, be creative, discover new solutions and work closely together with enthusiastic colleagues that will go the extra mile with a smile on their faces.
