Bunker Holding Group (“BH Group”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring transparency in how we process it.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you interact with us as a customer, supplier, business partner, job applicant, or website user.
It is important for us, that you as a co-operation partner feel comfortable with our processing of the personal data that comes into our possession, when you do business with us.
This policy on the protection of personal data is a supplement to, but does not replace any other applicable policies, agreements or terms and conditions which have been otherwise established between us.
2. Who is the controller of your personal data?
The Danish company, Bunker Holding A/S (“Bunker Holding”), is the controller of the personal data you submit to us within the BH Group. Bunker Holding is responsible for your personal data under The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and local laws.

3. Where we process and transfer your personal data
Personal data collected by us is primarily stored and processed within the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
In certain cases, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. Such transfers will only take place where appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Companies within the Bunker Holding Group only transfer personal data to third countries where at least one of the following conditions is met:
- The European Commission has determined that the country ensures an adequate level of protection.
- Appropriate safeguards have been implemented, such as the use of EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- The recipient participates in an approved certification mechanism, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
When required, we will assess whether additional safeguards are necessary to ensure an adequate level of protection.
4. Who can access your data?
If the purpose requires it, your personal data may be shared internally in the BH Group. We never sell or otherwise pass on your data to external third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Which personal data is processed by us?
The BH Group collects and processes your personal data. The data we collect and process in given situations varies, but the personal data may be the following:
- Master data, including name, address, telephone number, date of birth, gender and e-mail address.
- Personal data sent to us in chats and/or e-mails for the legitimate interest of our relationship purposes.
Your personal data collected through the various technologies, channels and platforms may be combined. The main legal basis for processing your personal data is for entering into a contract or prior to entering such.
6. What is the purpose of the processing?
We process personal data in the BH Group regarding employees, customers, vendors and other co-operation partners for business, financial and administrative purposes.
The processing of personal data in the BH Group is in accordance with the following principles:
- We only process personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.
- We only collect personal data for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.
- We only process adequate and relevant personal data, which is limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

- We ensure that personal data is processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of such personal data.
7. How do we protect your personal data?
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse.
These measures are designed to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk and may include:
- Access controls and user authentication.
- Encryption and secure data transmission.
- Monitoring and logging of system activity.
We regularly review and update our security measures to ensure they remain effective and aligned with current technological developments and threat landscapes.
8. What are your rights?
You are entitled to receive information about and object to the processing of your personal data. Upon sending your request to Bunker Holding, you are entitled to have corrected, deleted or blocked any data that turns out to be incorrect or misleading or has been processed contrary to the personal data legislation.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing of your personal data that is based on the legitimate interest of the BH Group. You are also entitled to receive information provided to us by you, in an electronic formation. The BH Group will not continue to process the personal data unless we can demonstrate legitimate grounds for the process, which overrides your interest and rights or due to legal claims.
9. For how long do we store personal data?
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
When personal data is no longer necessary, it will be securely deleted.
10. Filling of complaint
If you believe that we process your personal data in violation of applicable data protection laws, we encourage you to contact us so that we can address your concerns.
You also have the right to file a complaint to a supervisory authority.
